Retirement Sale. Moving on to other things after 20 years of Car Sales. :-) Selling off Owners private Toys. This is personal car registered in MY name. Offered as a CASH sale. Please note: This is a very nice 1990 convertible, but its not a 2020 Mercedes. If looking for a classic car great, come test drive this one. If looking for a NEW car under $8000 those do NOT exist. In the world of classic cars this one is NICE and rust free. Trades: BMW Z3 with 5 speed manual, 6 cylinder, low mileage like this one? BMW 3 Series Convertible 2002 or newer with 6 speed manual? Complete rust free under 98k mile car. New Convertible top less than 2000 miles ago, with receipt to prove it. ($1950) This is the inline six 300SL which is VERY rare and gets good mpg, while most where sold as 500SL V8 and very hard to work on. The Mercedes 300 engines are known for lasting performance. Runs great, A/C blows cold, power seats work, windows work, etc. You are welcome to schedule a licensed professional Inspector/Appraiser to evaluate this car. Appraisers do a great job and detailed report for $300. Clean Title in my personal name this was going to be my toy, but I have to pick and choose now what I am keeping. Great condition hard top included. Look at pictures from under-carriage of this car. NO RUST. Always garaged. Have tried to show the little bumps and scratches. NOT a 100 point restored car, but a really nice driver quality. Would have to go to California to find a rust free car like this and pay $1500 to ship it back to the Midwest. The dash on this one is NOT cracked, because it has been garaged. Fuel filter and fuel lines changed recently. New distributor cap and rotor. Only has three flaws to address: Wear on driver seat back, Needs antenna and Needs two convertible top lift cylinders rebuilt. Seals are leaking. Got a quote from convertible shop at $850 for that repair, but I am retiring, clearing out inventory and letting things go as-is. Truth is, I only drove it top down anyway, but need to be fixed. All components are there. Top operates manually. Lots of YouTube videos on that subject. I wouldn't even fix the wear on driver seat. NO RUST. Great opportunity for a complete original, undamaged car. Owners manual, tool kit, trunk carpet, floor mats, 100% complete. Do your research, look at what these are going for nation wide with under 100k miles. Replacement Antenna is $50 and if you buy it, I will install it. You could be driving a 98K mile Mercedes 300SL with new convertible top, matching hard top and 4 new tires. Look up what just the hard top sells for on eBay. :-) If not sold by Thanksgiving will put on a National Auction site. Someone in the Northeast would love to have a rust free 300SL. :-)
